How do I know my car supports this?
Plug your phone into the car's USB port. If CarPlay or Android Auto loads on the dash, you're set. If nothing happens, this won't work in your car.
My car has no CarPlay at all
Then this isn't the product for you. You need a screen that brings its own CarPlay, which is a different unit entirely. See the portable screen.
Do I leave it plugged in?
Yes. It's built to stay in the port permanently, so there's nothing to remember when you get in the car.
Can I switch between phones?
You can pair a new phone whenever you like, including switching between iPhone and Android. It connects to one at a time.
Does anything change on screen?
No. You get the same interface, same apps and same voice control you already have wired. Only the cable disappears.
How long is delivery?

I have to say, this tiny device boots quickly and carplay looks great. works well too. the only problem is it spontaneously reconnects every 5 minutes or so! interruptions to my listening experience are very annoying!! needs a firmware fix!

The adapter is easy to install, but unfortunately it operates unstable. Sometimes the phone doesn't connect automatically, and you have to remove the adapter from the USB port and insert it again for it to work. There is also a noticeable delay when switching music tracks and using other functions, which makes operation inconvenient. I tested the device on a 2020 Mazda CX-5, and these issues occur regularly. I do not recommend the seller, as I opened a dispute for a partial refund, but no one listened to me. For now, the adapter is working, but not quite as described above; we'll see how long it lasts.

The first connection usually fails. Most of the time, you have to make 2 attempts for it to work properly. I'm thinking of returning it.
